The
customer shall provide, free of expense to the Company and close to the point
of service entrance, suitable space for the installation of the Company's metering
equipment. The customer shall permit only authorized agents of the Company,
or other lawfully authorized persons, to inspect, test or remove the same. If
the meters or metering equipment are damaged or destroyed through the neglect
of the customer, the cost of necessary repair or replacement shall be paid by
the customer.
Whenever
a meter fails to register the amount of gas supplied during any period, an
estimated bill will be rendered based upon the use during similar periods
or on other available information in accordance with the rules and regulations
of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
